The wedding planning process can be unnecessarily stressful with so many options, but we hope that we can make it a bit easier on you! We’ve outlined a few of the most important questions to ask when choosing a wedding photographer to help you figure out what’s best for documenting your love story.
Do you get printing rights to your images?
This one is so important! You don’t want to have a beautiful wedding and engagement session only to find out that purchasing digital files or printing rights to your images is even more money. When you book with us, we include an online gallery, digital downloads, as well as an unlimited print release to make sure you can have the edited, high resolution images you want!
How long before you see any photos?!
No matter if it’s 10 days or 10 weeks, it will feel like so long to get images back! We try to make it painless and get wedding images back to you within 8 weeks, but you do receive sneak peeks from your big day within a few days to hold you over! Your engagement or bridal session images are returned within 7 business days. Everything is high resolution, edited, and print ready!
Does your photographer carry liability insurance?
This. Is. HUGE! Most venues nowadays require it, but it’s best to have it even if not. This protects us & our clients if any sort of accident were to happen at your wedding or session. We personally carry a one million dollar policy that covers our gear, personal injury, theft, and more just in case.
Are all taxes and fees included in the price?
I can’t count the times I’ve had couples come to me and say “we almost booked so and so but then at booking they added $300 in fees and taxes.” How annoying! Always be sure to ask. With us, what you see is what you pay. If we quote you $3000, that’s what you’ll pay. There are no credit card processing fees, additional taxes, travel fees, etc!
